The Thir Wine Bar features artisanal wines and locally sourced food. Our wine selection rests in the capable hands of Honza Čulík and Vojtěch Morava. The kitchen is the domain of Erik Holub, whose passion for local food can be tasted in every dish that comes to your table.
We stock natural, organic and biodynamic wines primarily from Central European countries. We believe in spontaneously fermented wines made without unnecessary interference, allowing their region of origin and the winemaker’s abilities to shine through.
We can boast personal knowledge of most of the winemakers and regions we carry. The vast majority of our wines are unfiltered and unfined, so the wine in your glass is always honest, authentic and chemical-free.
We buy Moravian wines directly from the winemakers and source wines from other countries ourselves or through leading Czech importers such as Veltlin.cz, Winegeek.cz, Fajnšmekr, Vinorum and Via del Vino.

Our entire philosophy centers around local ingredients from local producers. We cultivate good relationships with our suppliers and see part of our purpose as a business in supporting local farmers.
We buy our herbs, lettuces and edible flowers from Mrs. Marková at the Mlýnec farm, vegetables from Martin Kořének at the Vícemil farm, meat, sausages and deli meats from Roman Liška from Smyslov, goat cheese from the Burzik family in Borotín and sheep cheese from the Horní Dvorec farm, all within a few kilometers away from Tábor.
We are passionate about seeking out new, high-quality suppliers in our immediate area around Tábor.
We offer accommodations in the historical downtown area of Tábor on the two floors above the wine bar. These newly renovated rooms with beautiful en suite bathrooms make an excellent home base for your stay in town.
Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, our comfortable beds, good food, great wines and the atmosphere of old Tabor are sure to make your stay a pleasant one.
